Historical Yearly Trends for Fixed and Mobile Broadband Penetration Rates
- Comparing the trends in fixed broadband and mobile broadband penetration rates from 2006 to 2025, following 2022 when mobile broadband user penetration rate first surpassed fixed broadband user penetration rate, the past four years have maintained a stable pattern of mobile broadband penetration exceeding fixed broadband penetration, with the gap between the two usage rates remaining relatively consistent.

Internet Connection Mode
- Taiwan's mobile-only internet usage rate stands at 18.69%, a slight increase from last year's 18.04%. The fixed-only internet usage rate is 1.35%, a slight decrease compared to last year's 1.88%. The hybrid internet usage rate is 68.43%, also showing a slight increase from last year's 68.03%.
